Overview
This program is designed to support you in your challenging new role with the Coach and Advisor Network (CAN). Lawyers and paralegals have many of the core coaching skills required to assist others in clarifying and setting goals, creating action plans, monitoring progress, providing insights and creating a framework of accountability. This workshop will help you harness those strengths, build on the recommended course of self-study and review:

  • The ‘What’ and ‘Why’ of Coaching
  • The GROW Coaching Model
  • Coaching Skills during Peer to Peer Coaching

 This 3-Hour Workshop is free of charge and accredited for 3 Professionalism Hours.


About the Faculty
Josie Di Vincenzo is President of JDV Training & Development Inc. with over 24 years’ experience designing and facilitating learning to over 500 hundred learning events in all sectors, and coaching leaders and their teams to maximize their skills, improve their effectiveness, and to accomplish extraordinary results.

Josie has a Master of Adult Education from St. Francis Xavier University (M. Ad. Ed.), is a Certified Training & Development Professional (CTDP), a Professional Certified Coach (PCC); Adler International Learning Inc. & Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE), University of Toronto, a Certified Legacy Leadership Facilitator™, and Licensed Coaching Out of the Box Facilitator®. She was the recipient of the 2007 Institute for Performance and Learning (IPL) Research Award. She is also an Assessor for the certification of Performance and Learning professionals at IPL. Josie has had the pleasure of teaching at the University of Western Ontario and today, is a faculty member for the Adult Learning and Development Program at OISE, University of Toronto, and a faculty member for the University of Victoria’s Certificate in Adult and Continuing Education (CACE) program.
