Document Delivery Service for Law Society Members
Law Society members may request copies of cases, legislation, articles and other legal materials sourced from the Great Library’s print and digital holdings, by filling out a Document Delivery Request Form
- Print-Sourced Documents
The following charges apply to documents copied from print sources, scanned to PDF and emailed:
- 30¢ per page, plus a $10 handling charge per order (5 items or less), plus applicable taxes.
- Rush surcharge (for orders required within 4 business hours): add $5.00 per item.
- Electronic Documents
- Up to 5 items (cases, legislation, journal articles, etc.) from electronic sources may be sent free of charge.
- Requests for documents from the library’s online subscription services are subject to our license agreements.
Most requests are completed within 24 hours. Rush orders are completed within 4 business hours. Rush orders are accepted at the discretion of staff. Copyright

Discover the beauty of the Great Library in historic Osgoode Hall. Learn about the services and extensive information resources, including free online databases, available to you. Library orientation tours are offered for law firm summer students, articling/LPP students and members from May through September. Tours last approximately 45 minutes. Maximum number per tour is eight (8) persons.

Printing & Photocopying
Printing is available from all library computers. Print-outs can be picked up at the Centre Desk in the Main Reading Room. Photocopiers are located on the 2nd floor off the Main Reading Room. A microfiche/film machine with printing capability is located in the Reference Room.
Costs for printing and photocopying
- 25¢ per page using cash
- 20¢ per page using a copy card
Copy cards may be purchased for $1.00 and any value can then be added to the card using cash, debit card or credit card.
Photocopies and printouts may be also be invoiced by using a control card which can be signed out at the Center Desk in the Main Reading Room. There is a $2 service fee for using this method and a charge of 25 cents per page.

Available Monday to Friday 9 AM – 9 PM, Saturday 9 AM to 5 PM and Sunday 12 noon to 5 PM.
The library's Consultation Room is convenient to the courts in Osgoode Hall and at 361 & 393 University Avenue. It accommodates up to 8 people and is equipped with Internet access, LED projector and retractable screen. This room may be reserved by Law Society members needing a quiet and private space for client consultation and/or trial preparation.
The Consultation Room may not be booked by any member for more than 15 hours per month. As well, this room may not be booked for the purpose of CPD programs, seminars, workshops, or professional development sessions.
To reserve the Consultation Room, e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org or speak to staff in the library. There is no charge to Law Society members for the use of the room.
