Convocation news records the major decisions made by Convocation (the Law Society's Board of Directors).
Convocation's decisions are based on reports and motions presented at its monthly meetings. Copies of this material along with the minutes and agenda for each meeting are posted with the news.

Reports and motions presented to Convocation are subject to debate by Convocation. The recommendations listed in a report may or may not be adopted. Refer to the minutes and decisions of the Convocation meeting for an accurate understanding of how the report was received.
