Student-at-law Rights of Appearance

Licensing Process candidates of the Law Society who have completed all phases of the Licensing Process and are awaiting call to the bar are reminded that their status remains as a "student-at-law", with the consequent limitations and requirements, until they have received their call. Students-at-law are absolutely prohibited from providing legal services that are normally provided by a lawyer and from holding themselves out as a lawyer, until they are called to the bar.
