Contract Lawyers and Paralegals Registry
Need assistance while you are away from the office? The Law Society of Upper Canada’s Contract Lawyersand Paralegals Registry is a province-wide listing of lawyers and paralegals who are available to work on a short-term or contract basis. The Contract Lawyers and Paralegals Registry includes resources to help you hire a Contract Lawyer or Paralegal, including a contract checklist, sample contract clauses, and a discussion about the potential practice management and ethical issues involved in hiring a Contract Lawyer or Paralegal. The Contract Lawyers and Paralegals  Registry also assists those lawyers or paralegals who are seeking flexible, short-term work by providing them with an opportunity to promote their availability and experience to lawyers and paralegals across the province.

Parental Leave Assistance Program
The Law Society of Upper Canada’s Parental Leave Assistance Program provides financial benefits to practising lawyers in firms of five lawyers or fewer who do not have access to other maternity, parental, or adoption financial benefits under public or private plans and who meet the eligibility criteria.

 Career Coaching Program

On April 2, 2010, The Law Society of Upper Canada launched the five-year pilot "Career Coaching Program", a program for women lawyers or paralegals who meet specified eligibility criteria to receive, without charge, up to six hours of career coaching from a qualified professional career coach. On March 1, 2013, the program was expanded to women paralegals.
