Notices are issued at the beginning of a regulatory proceeding.
Regulatory notices include:
- notices of application for conduct, capacity, competence or non-compliance proceedings initiated by the Law Society against a lawyer or paralegal
- notices of application for reinstatement or terms dispute proceedings initiated by a lawyer or paralegal
- notices of referral for hearing for licensing or restoration proceedings
- notices of motion for an interlocutory suspension or restriction of a lawyer's or paralegal's licence
- notices of appeal.
(See definitions for more information.)
View a list of current notices of application and notices of referral for hearing, organized either by date or by the name of the lawyer, paralegal or applicant.
Information about these regulatory notices is removed from the list once a matter has been resolved. See the Orders and Disposition pages (Lawyers, Paralegals) for information on resolved matters.
